My haunted house is from Hand blessings. I changed the thread colors and fabric from those suggested.

Frank N Stein
June's free choice is Frank N Stein from Pickle Barrel Designs. The original pattern called for 3 separate pieces (head, body and legs) but that's too much finishing for me so I combined the 3 body parts into just one creepy monster.
Check out this link for the way the designer intended him to look. He's in the upper right corner of the cover picture.

It's a Jack-O-Balloon
I finished up part 2 of Fright Flight by stitching the pumpkin balloon. TeeHee .... I guess her broom is out of order. It's the humor in patterns like this that make me enjoy Halloween stitching so much ... makes me grin every time I look at it.

Many tombstones
My tombstones come from Prairie Schooler's Nevermore.
And so that you don't have to look it up, here is Nevermore all finished:

Creepy pieces/parts for February
My skeleton for February is just a skull. This is the second time I've stitched this one. The first time I gave it away to my young nephew but this one is for me. I think I'll finish it the same way but with a silver spider instead to match the ghostly hue. It's a freebie from skulladay.com.

Marcy's January Witch
I decided to do something different this month. My witch is part of a larger pattern which I'll finish later in the year. This is the witchy half of Cross-eyed Cricket's Fright Flight. The other half is waiting for May ... pumpkin month.
I was originally going to split it into 3 months (witches, pumpkins and black cats) but there are so many better patterns with black cats that I changed my mind.

Light My Fire!
My last ornament for 2014 is Light my fire! from Sisters and Best Friends. I left off the words, changed a few colors and just stitched Mr. Jack.
I was supposed to stitch him last year but Christmas stitching got in the way. I thought about dumping him again this year for the same reason but my inner Grinch popped up, saving Jack from this sad fate. And so for the first time (ever!) I stitched all 12 Halloweenie months. Woohoo! I'm grinning as big as Jack now .... except I have more teeth.

Attack of the spiders
As soon as I saw the subject for November way back when, I knew I had to stitch this one.
This cute little gingerbread house with it's pink window curtain .... under creepy attack! Too funny ... I love it!
BTW, my photo assistant, snoozing on the back of the couch is Willow, my 12 y.o. beagle.

My black cats are done !
Woohoo! I'm early this month. I finished Yeow from Prairie Schooler already. Isn't he creepy?
And, since this one has a black cat also, I thought I'd share it. Wicked, a freebie from

Love that creepy castle.

August's Ghosts ... complete with manor
Even though I'm late getting this posted here, I did get my ghosts finished before September. The reason it took so long to get them done is because I had to stitch the house for them to haunt first. And that took a bit of time.
Plus over the long weekend I assembled a few of my Halloween stitchings into ornaments so they will be ready for this year.

July's pumpkins are finally finished
I finished my pumpkins for July this morning. Since I just started them on July 30th, I'm thinking I did okay. July was a busy month and I considered not doing the pumpkins and just jumping onto August's ghosts. However, this is one of my favorite patterns. I've stitched it 2 other times for people who are not me. Skipping it was not an option.
I don't know what it is about this trio of goofy guys but they put a grin on my face every time.

Another witch for June
I stitched a quickee for June. It's Vintage Witch by Laura Rimola of the Little Stitcher. I've had this one in my 'to do' pile for awhile. After stitching the headless horseman in brown last month I didn't want to do this one in more brown .... yawn. So I switched to a brighter rust color on gold fabric.
Love that nose.

Marcy's May Monster
I finished my monster yesterday. It's Wicked Night from The Primitive Hare. He's a bit big for a small but when I was looking for a monster pattern and came across this one, I was hooked. I started him right away to be sure to get him finished in time. He's stitched on 22 ct ivory hardanger with dmc 3371 and will be stained with coffee/tea to get that aged look before 'ornamentification'.

A tiny owl
I finished my April owl. He's just a little guy but spooky cute none the less. This pattern is called Acorn House from designer Jeannette Douglas. I changed the border a bit from the original.

A witch's hat for March
As soon as I saw this pattern, I stopped looking for my March witch. It's Witch's Hat by The Stitchworks. I love the glitz of it.

My Vampire . . . Bat
I couldn't find a vampire in human form that I liked so picked one in it's bat form instead and added a border for fun.
I love this green fabric -- it's perfect for Halloween.

January's ornament -- a little late
I've had this done for awhile now but due to computer problems haven't been able to post it. My January ornament is Not Forgotted from Plum Street Samplers. It's from one of the Halloween issues of JCS Magazine.
I have my February ornie almost stitched and with luck I won't be so late getting it posted.
