I pulled this little owl from the "Owl Candle Band" in the JCS October 2014 issue. Designed by Elizabeth Spurlock. I stitched him on 14 ct plastic canvas, added a felt backing and a braided loop for hanging.

That's a nice adaptation of the design. It will look lovely hung from a twig or a Hallowe'en tree.
