Cheryl's January Witch Ornament

For my January ornament, I selected "Isn't It Fun to Be a Little Witch?" designed by Giulia Manfredini and featured in the JCS Oct 2014 Issue.

Stitched on 18ct. Aida, the finished ornament measures about 2" (5 cm) wide by 4" (10 cm) tall.

There are special buttons that were used with the original design - but I used buttons I had on hand.  I just happened to have a faceted pumpkin embellishment which was the exact size needed for her to sit upon. In the original design she was holding a candy corn button, which I replaced with a wand.

Happy Witching & Happy Stitching!
